Abveture Story D&D session 11/24

Arnow Artherson (halfling) Fighter/Rogue

With Loo the Bard and Ahkshay the monk they band together.

We accept a mission to break a wasting curse. We Go out into the jungle in search of the a cure. In the first day we encounter a group of cannibals. Not wasting any time the long bow is pulled with two perfect shots to the chest. As the guy crumpled dead the other arrows appear in the guys gut making a smiley face. My party helps with the others and we search for treasure. (15 sp 3 health potions)

A little farther down the trail – WTF a giant zombie Tyrannosaurus Rex comes out of the brush. In a great feat of avoidance (He rolled double ones to hit) I flip onto his neck so that he might not bite me again. Whip out my hand axes and start beating on the poor undead beastie head. While the monk and bard beat on it from below. He chomped both the bard and the monk. I penetrated the head with my axe stuck my hand in and ripped his brains out.

Going into an abandoned temple we avoided many traps to come out with an alchemist’s urn. When we exited ten goblins were waiting for us. (Our GM eagerly lines up a dice for each of ugly little oponents) Loo stepped forward and cast comprehend languages. With that she talks to the little monsters. They demand the urn. Loo being a bard of talent takes a water flask and uses prestidigitation skill and sleight of hand and hands the urn/flask to a goblin. He runs away eagerly leaving only nine little guys to deal with.

They demand our money and Loo looks at the goblins and claims we are poor adventures and have no money. (A ROLL OF ONE) The goblins point to a pouch of gold. Loo looks down in surprise. She gasps it and pulls out a single gold coin. Loo looks in awe at the coin “I’ve never seen one of these before.” She takes the goblins hand and places the coin in thier hand. She closes the goblins fingers over the coin and exclaims “Now you take care of this. I hope you won’t spend it on frivolous things”

With that the party walks away with the goblins staring at them. The GM was sitting there slack jawed looking at his unused dice. The party turns a corner and that ends the session.
